[Admin Guide] Find and track Learning Paths from the list

See how every Learning Path is performing, find the one you need in seconds, and act on it without leaving the page. The Learning Paths list is the home base for admins. It shows your published, draft, and archived paths, with completion health on every row.

ℹ️ Note: The Learning Paths list is available in the Spekit Hub (Web App). Learners do not see this page. They open their assigned paths from Assigned in the top navigation.

1. How to open the Learning Paths list

  1. Open the Spekit Hub (Web App).
  2. Click Hub in the top navigation.
  3. Select Learning Paths.

The list opens on the Published tab. Each tab shows a count, so you can see at a glance how much is live, in progress, or retired.

This table explains what each tab holds.

Tab What it contains
Published Paths that are live and visible to their assigned teams.
Draft Paths you are still building. Learners cannot see these.
Archived Paths removed from active use. Content and data are preserved and can be restored.

2. Understanding the summary cards

Four summary cards sit above the list. They give you the health of your whole learning program in one view.

This table explains what each card measures.

Card What it shows
Published paths The total number of paths that are currently live.
Learner assignments The total number of learner assignments across all published paths. One learner assigned to 3 paths counts as 3.
Average completion The average completion rate across all published paths.
Needs attention The number of published paths with learners falling behind.

Click the Needs attention card to filter the list down to only those paths. Click it again to clear the filter.

💡 Pro Tip: Start your week on the Needs attention card. It turns a long list into a short action list, and it is usually faster than reading every completion bar.

💡 Pro Tip: When a path needs attention, you have 2 good moves. Send a reminder, or add the path to a Topic your team already uses often. The second one usually works better, because it puts the path where people already are instead of asking them to go find it.

3. How to find a Learning Path

You have 4 ways to narrow the list. You can combine them.

This table explains each option.

Option What it does
Search learning paths Searches by path title.
All parent Topics Filters to paths that sit under a specific parent Topic. The dropdown shows how many paths sit under each Topic.
All teams Filters to paths assigned to a specific team.
Only paths with role play Shows only paths that include an AI Role Play step.

When a filter is on, a Clear filters link appears. Click it to reset everything at once.

To sort, click any column header. Click once to sort, click again to reverse the order. You can sort by Learning path, Items, Assigned to, Completion, Due date, and Last updated.

💡 Pro Tip: Sort by Last updated when you are doing a content review. The oldest paths rise to the bottom, and those are the ones most likely to hold stale information.

The list is paged. A line at the bottom tells you how many paths you are seeing out of the total, with Previous and Next controls beside it.

4. What each tab shows

The columns change depending on which tab you are on, because a draft, a live path, and an archived path need different information.

Tab Column What it shows
Published Tab Learning path The path name. If the path sits under a parent Topic, the Topic appears below the name.
Items The number of content items in the path. A badge appears next to the count if the path includes an AI Role Play.
Assigned to The number of learners assigned, and the number of teams.
Completion A progress bar and a percentage. Below it, a health status such as Needs attention, with a count like "4 of 6 past due".
Due date The due date set for the path. If the date has passed, you also see how many days it is past due. A path set to a timeframe shows something like "7 days after assigned" with Per learner below it, because each learner's deadline starts when they are assigned.
Last updated The date the path was last edited.
Draft Tab Learning path The path name, with its parent Topic below if it has one.
Items The number of items added so far.
Audience The teams or learners selected, and a reminder that the path is not published yet.
Status Needs content if the path is still empty, or Ready to publish if it is complete.
Last updated The date the draft was last edited.
Archived Tab Learning path The path name, with its parent Topic below if it has one.
Items The number of items in the path when it was archived.
Learners The number of learners who were assigned.
Final completion The completion rate at the moment the path was archived, marked Final.
Archived The date the path was archived.

To bring an archived path back, click Restore to draft at the end of its row. It returns as a draft, so you can review it before publishing again.

ℹ️ Note: Completion health only applies to published paths. Drafts have no learners yet, so they show a status instead.

5. Quick actions from a row

Click the ... menu at the end of any row to act on that path without opening it. The available actions depend on the tab.

Tab Action What it does
Published Tab Edit path Opens the path in the editor so you can change content, sections, or settings.
Assign learners Adds or changes the teams assigned to the path, without opening it.
Send reminder Opens the path so you can notify learners who have not finished yet.
View analytics Opens the Analytics tab for that path, where you can see completion by path item and by learner.
Archive path Moves the path to the Archived tab and removes it from active use.
Draft Tab Edit path Opens the draft in the editor.
Assign learners Selects the teams the path will go to once published.
Archive path Retires the draft without ever publishing it.
Archived Tab

Archived rows have no ... menu. Click Restore to draft on the row instead.

ℹ️ Note: A draft is published from inside the path, not from this menu. Open the draft and click Publish.

💡 Pro Tip: Use View analytics before you send a reminder. If everyone is stuck on the same item, the problem is the content, not the learners, and a reminder will not fix it.

6. Best practices

Use these habits to keep your Learning Paths list useful as it grows.

Best practice Why it matters
Archive paths you no longer use A short Published tab is easier to scan. Archiving preserves the content and the final completion rate.
Give every path a due date Without a due date, a path can never show as past due, so it will never surface on the Needs attention card.
Use clear, searchable titles Search matches on title only. Name paths the way your team would search for them, for example "AE Onboarding Week 1".
Review Needs attention weekly Catching a stalled path at week 2 is far easier than catching it at week 12.
Put important paths inside a Topic Paths in a Topic that people already visit get found. A path with no Topic relies on the learner remembering to check Assigned.
Clear out empty drafts A draft showing Needs content has no items in it. If you are not going to finish it, archive it.
Check Last updated each quarter Paths pull live content, but the structure can still go stale.
