[Rep Guide] Set up your buyer's branding

A Deal Room with the buyer's own logo and colors reads as something built for them, not a generic template with their name dropped in. It shows you did the work to understand their deal, and it makes the room easy to recognize when they come back to it or forward it to a colleague. This guide covers how to set branding when you create a room, and how to update it later.

ℹ️ You can set branding while creating a room, or change it any time afterward from Deal Room settings. To create a room first, see Create a Deal Room.

What you can customize

Branding has two parts, and both can be automatic or manual.

Part How it works
Logo Fills in automatically when you select a matching company, or you can upload your own.
Brand color Fills in alongside the logo, or you can set a custom color with a hex value.

Step 1: Set branding when you create a room

Branding is set on the Branding tab during creation.

  1. During Deal Room creation, click the Branding tab.
  2. Start typing the company's name and select it from the list. This fills in a matching logo and brand color where available.
  3. Pick the logo version you want under Select logo, and a color under Select color.
  4. If nothing fills in, or you want something different, upload a logo under Logo and set a custom color under Color.
  5. Continue through the rest of setup and click Create Deal Room.

💡 Pro Tip: For a manual logo upload, use a PNG with a minimum height of 32px so it stays crisp.

💡 Pro Tip: The branded look carries into the share link. When you copy the link, it shows a branded preview, so the buyer sees their own logo in the email or message.

Step 2: Update branding on an existing room

You can change branding any time after the room is created.

  1. Open the Deal Room you want to update.
  2. Click the settings gear to open Deal Room settings.
  3. Select the Branding tab.
  4. Search for the company to apply its logo and colors, or upload a logo and set a custom color manually.
  5. Click Save changes.

💡 Pro Tip: If the auto-pulled logo is wrong or low quality, upload a clean version yourself rather than shipping a blurry one to the buyer.

Best practices

Best practice Why it helps
Brand the room before the first share A branded room from the first look signals you built it for them.
Use a high-quality logo A crisp logo reads as professional. Upload your own if the auto-pull looks off.
Preview after branding changes Confirms the logo and colors look right before the buyer sees them.
Keep colors close to the buyer's real brand It makes the room feel familiar and trustworthy to their team.

💡 Pro Tip: Always run a quick Preview after changing branding, so you catch a wrong logo or color before you share.

Examples

  • Auto-branding a known account. You create a room for an account already in Salesforce. On the Branding tab you type the company name, and the logo and colors fill in automatically. They look right, so you leave them and move on. Done in seconds.

  • Fixing a wrong logo. The auto-pulled logo is an old version of the buyer's brand. You upload the current logo under Logo, set the brand color with the exact hex from their website, and preview to confirm it looks sharp before sharing.
