Access & Setup Issues
If you or your team can't create or access Deal Rooms, start here:
Can't create a Deal Room?
✅ Resolution:Deal Rooms may not be enabled for your entire organization.Â

Can't access an Admin-owned Deal Room?
✅ Resolution:Verify you are logged into the correct Spekit instance. You can confirm this in your Profile within the Web App or through the Chrome Extension settings.
Content or branding isn't loading correctly?
✅ Resolution:Simply refresh your browser to resolve potential caching errors.

Collaboration IssuesÂ
If you're having trouble involving your team, check the following:
Can't add a colleague as a collaborator?
✅ Resolution:Ensure the user you are trying to add has an active Spekit license. Collaborators must be licensed users.
My collaborator isn't getting notifications.
✅ Resolution:If the user is an Admin, they must be explicitly added as a collaborator by the owner to receive in-app and buyer engagement notifications, even though they already have default access. Confirm they were properly added.

Visibility & Tracking Issues
If something is missing or analytics aren't working as expected, review these points:
A newly added file isn't showing up.
✅ Resolution:Refresh your browser to resolve potential caching errors. If the file is a third-party document, ensure the format is supported (PDF, Word, Excel, PPT, Google Slides).
My branding isn't appearing in the Deal Room.
✅ Resolution:Check your main Spekit settings to ensure your branding customizations (logo, colors) have been correctly configured and applied.
Buyer engagement views are low or nonexistent.
✅ Resolution:Verify that tracking is enabled for the specific Deal Room. Also, confirm that buyers are accessing the room via the secure public share link.
A Deal Room is inaccessible for both me and the buyer.
✅ Resolution:The Deal Room is likely Archived. Archived Deal Rooms are inaccessible to all users (internal and external) and must be restored before anyone can view them.
Are Deal Rooms supported in Outlook?
✅ Resolution:Not fully. For the best experience, we recommend accessing and managing Deal Rooms through the Spekit Web App.
