1. How to create a Deal Room
- Open the Spekit Web App.
- Click the + New button.
- Select Create a Deal Room from the creation menu.

Choose or Add a Company:
- Search for and select the relevant Salesforce Opportunity, or
- Enter the name of the company you’re sharing the file with for internal tracking. Just start typing to find a match!
- Rename the Deal Room (optional). Give your Deal Room a custom name. This name will be visible to external recipients.
- Decide on engagement tracking settings: Choose whether to enable engagement tracking and require an email address for content access.
- Decide who can access the content: Enter specific email addresses or domains (e.g., john@acme.com or acme.com) to restrict access. Use Tab, Enter, Space, or Comma to add multiple entries, or leave the field empty to allow access for anyone.

Click the Branding tab to personalize the appearance of the Deal Room.
- Start by typing the company’s name and selecting it from the list.
- Choose the company’s logo and brand color.
- You also have the option to manually upload a logo and set a custom color.
- Choose your notification preferences: Select how you’d like to be notified when the Deal Room is viewed. These settings are personal and won’t affect other collaborators.
- Click Create Deal Room.
2. How to navigate a Deal Room
Once you create a Deal Room in the Spekit Web App, you'll find the following functions to help you manage and share your content:
- Deal Room Name and Logo: The name and company logo you've set for the Deal Room.
- Collaborators: View and add collaborators to the Deal Room. Collaborators receive notifications, have edit access, and can view analytics.

Deal Room Settings:
- General: Edit the Deal Room name and company, and require email access if needed.
- Branding: Update the logo and brand color to align with the recipient’s branding.
- Collaborators: Add Spekit users as collaborators with full edit and analytics permissions.
- Notifications: Control when you receive notifications for Deal Room activity. These settings apply only to you and do not affect other collaborators.
- Clone Deal Room: Duplicate an existing Deal Room for reuse.
- Archive Deal Room: Archive the Deal Room when it is no longer needed.
- Preview Deal Room: See exactly what the recipient will see.
- Share Deal Room Link: Quickly copy the link to share the Deal Room.
- Recent Activity Analytics: View all content interactions in one place. You’ll see the viewer’s email, the Viewer's title (if linked to Salesforce opp), the content viewed, last viewed date, and time spent viewing. Click the ellipsis to access analytics for a specific link.
- Content Activity Analytics: See engagement broken down by each piece of content, including the content name, last viewed date, total views, and time spent viewing.
- Sections: Group content by stakeholder, use case, or deal stage, structuring the room exactly how the deal demands.
- Reorder Deal Room Content: Drag and drop content to change its order.
- Add New Section: Add a new section to structure content for different stakeholders or deal stages.
- Add Content to the Deal Room: Add new content from various sources.

Section Actions: Within a section, you can:
- Add content to the section
- Copy a section share link
- Rename the section
- Delete the section

Adding content to a Deal Room allows you to centralize everything your buyer needs in one place—from polished collateral to custom summaries and external files.

Sections help you organize your Deal Room into clear, digestible groupings—making it easier for buyers to navigate content and for you to tailor the experience to each deal. You can create sections to group materials by theme, stage, or stakeholder.

Reordering content in a Deal Room helps you control the flow of information so buyers see the most important materials first. You can quickly rearrange items using drag-and-drop and save your changes in just a few clicks.
