Can the content include images/gifs/videos?
Yes. In Spekit you can upload images and gifs up to 5 MB.
If your media files are larger the content team will resize or take high-resolution screenshots and upload them into Spekit as a workaround. You can also embed videos into the Speks. (example, videos hosted on youtube, loom, drive, etc)
💡 Best Practice: Always use high-resolution images and videos
Can I add PDFs and other documents in the Speks? Can I make files hosted in different sources easily available in Spekit?
Yes, you can upload or embed other files.
You can upload PDF files and embed files that are hosted in different sources, such as Google Drive, Box, etc, through the iframe embed code. This will make sure your users have a single source to search for content.
Additionally, you can add hyperlinks to different materials in the Spek if you want to still maintain those resources.
💡 Pro Tip: share the content with the Spekit services team to have them convert the documents and make it easily available in Spekit.
