Who can create a Knowledge Check?
Account Admins, Team Admins, or Experts can create and publish Knowledge Checks. Team Admins and Experts can send Knowledge Checks to teams they have admin privileges for.
Are there character limits for the questions and/or answers?
Title: 140 character limit
Question: 255 character limit
Answer Options: 140 character limit
Note: There are error messages that will display if users run into these limits
Do Knowledge Checks get sent out to everyone in the organization?
No. A Team can be selected when using the Audience field in the Settings of the Knowledge Check. At this time, you can choose only the different teams you have in Spekit, not individual users.
What happens if I accidentally publish an incomplete Knowledge Check
All Knowledge Checks must have all required fields completed before they can be published. When trying to publish an incomplete Knowledge Check, each section's top navigation will have numbers indicating the total errors needing to be fixed.
After a Knowledge Check is published, minor edits can be made. Knowledge Checks can also be deleted or archived after publication, removing the Knowledge Checks from the Viewer experience.
How will a user be notified they have been assigned a Knowledge Check?
Creators have the option to send an email notification, send a Spekit in-app notification, or create and send Spotlight in the Knowledge Check Settings.
What happens if a user receives an email notification but does not have the Extension installed or isn't logged in?
If the Extension is not installed, they will be brought to a page that communicates that they need to install the Extension to take the Knowledge Check, with a link to download it.
If they are not logged in, they will be brought to the login screen, and then the Knowledge Checks widget will be visible on the home screen of the Web App/Extension for them to access the assigned Knowledge Check easily.
What happens when a user completes a Knowledge Check?
When a user completes a Knowledge Check, a screen will appear showing the number of questions they got correct. The correct answers will also be shown for each question, alongside the answers the user selected. Below the correct answers, there is an optional section for Next Steps (Note: This section needs to be filled out when creating the Knowledge Check). Under Next Steps, a link can be provided to direct the user to another location after completing the Knowledge Check.
How are Knowledge Checks in the Knowledge Checks tab in the Web App ordered for the content creator experience, and can you sort, search, or Filter?
Currently, you can Filter Knowledge Checks by “status” or “created by” and sort by “published date,” “last updated,” or alphabetically.
