Prerequisite: To manage Knowledge Checks, ensure the Spekit Chrome Extension is installed and you are logged in. Management requires Account Admin, Team Admin, or Expert level access.

1. How to preview a Knowledge Check
Before you launch, see exactly what your viewers will experience. The preview allows you to verify question clarity and flow.
- Open the Spekit Web App.
- Click Team Hub → Knowledge Checks.
- Select the specific assessment you want to review.
- Click the Eye Icon at the top of the page.
NOTE: The preview will automatically open within the Spekit Chrome Extension sidebar.
2. How to edit a published Knowledge Check
Once a Knowledge Check is published, certain structural elements are locked to maintain the integrity of your historical analytics.
- Open the Spekit Web App.
- Click Team Hub → Knowledge Checks.
- Select the specific assessment you want to edit.

You will be able to make limited changes to published Knowledge Checks:
✅ What You CAN Edit
- Check Title and Intro Page text.
- Add additional Teams to the audience.
- Score Page Learning Resource links.
❌ Locked Features (No Changes)
- Question structure or correct answer designations.
- The number of questions or the passing score.
- Removing teams from the existing audience.
- Click Publish Changes when you’re finished.
To update locked features, we recommend saving a copy of the check as a new draft before publishing.
3. How does Knowledge Check scoring work?
Spekit Knowledge Checks are designed for clarity. Assessments are scored on a strict pass/fail basis. The creator determines the threshold; once a user finishes, they are immediately informed if they met the requirement.
4. How to allow users to retake a Knowledge Check
If you want users to practice until they achieve mastery, you can enable unlimited attempts:
- Open the Spekit Web App.
- Click Team Hub → Knowledge Checks.
- Select the specific assessment you want to allow users to retake.
- Click the Settings button.

Check the box: Allow users to retake.
- Click Publish.
Admin Visibility: Your analytics will always display the user's latest score and their total number of attempts
