Chrome Extension Settings & Configuration

Manage core settings for the Spekit Chrome Extension, including enabling or disabling it, checking your version, and configuring cookie permissions.

1. How to Disable or Enable the Spekit Extension

1. Click the Extensions (puzzle piece) icon in your Chrome toolbar.
2. Select Manage Extensions.
3. Find Spekit in the list and click the toggle to turn it off.
4. Wait a few seconds, then click the toggle again to turn it back on.
5. Refresh the page and check if the issue is resolved.

3. How to Allow Third-Party Cookies for Spekit in Chrome

If Spekit is being blocked by Chrome's cookie settings, you will need to add Spekit's domains to the list of sites that are always allowed to use cookies.

1. Open Chrome Settings and search for cookies in the search bar.
2. Click Cookies and other site data.
3. Scroll down to the Sites that can always use cookies section and click Add.
4. Add each of the following three entries one at a time, exactly as shown:
   • [*.]app.spekit.co
   • [*.]spekit.co
   • chrome-extension://nbphjjmibhopfgkkbpoggemjnihnchhk/

Important: All three entries must be added for Spekit to function correctly. Make sure each entry is typed exactly as shown above, including the [*.] prefix.
