How to Create a Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Chrome Extension
2.) Click My Hub.
3.) Select + New Deal Room.
4.) Choose or Add a Company:
- Search for and select the relevant Salesforce Opportunity, or
- Enter the name of the company you’re sharing the file with for internal tracking. Just start typing to find a match!
5.) Rename the Deal Room (optional). Give your Deal Room a custom name. This name will be visible to external recipients.
6.) Decide whether to enable engagement tracking and if an email address should be required for content access.
7.) Click the Customize tab to personalize the appearance of the Deal Room.
- Start by typing the company’s name and selecting it from the list.
- Choose the company’s logo and brand color.
- You also have the option to manually upload a logo and set a custom color.
8.) Click Create Deal Room.
Navigating a Deal Room
Once you create a Deal Room in the Spekit Web App, you'll find the following functions to help you manage and share your content:
- Deal Room Name and Logo: The name and company logo you've set for the Deal Room.
- Collaborators: View and add collaborators to the Deal Room. Collaborators receive notifications, have edit access, and can view analytics.

Deal Room Settings:
- General: Edit the Deal Room name and company, and require email access if needed.
- Collaborators: Add Spekit users as collaborators with full edit and analytics permissions.
- Customize: Update the logo and brand color to align with the recipient’s branding.
- Notifications: Control when you receive notifications for Deal Room activity. These settings apply only to you and do not affect other collaborators.
- Clone Deal Room: Duplicate an existing Deal Room for reuse.
- Archive Deal Room: Archive the Deal Room when it is no longer needed.
- Preview Deal Room: See exactly what the recipient will see.
- Deal Room Analytics: Access engagement data to see who viewed content and when.
- Copy Deal Room Link: Quickly copy the link to share the Deal Room.
- Add Content to the Deal Room: Add new content from various sources.
- Sections: Group content by stakeholder, use case, or deal stage, structuring the room exactly how the deal demands.

Section Actions: Within a section, you can:
Add content to the section
Edit the section
Copy a section share link
Delete the section
- Reorder Deal Room Content: Drag and drop content to change its order.
- Add New Section: Add a new section to structure content for different stakeholders or deal stages.
How to Add Content to a Deal Room
CHROME EXTENSION INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Open the Spekit Chrome Extension
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to add content to.
4.) Click + Add content.
5.) From the drop-down menu, choose one of the following options:
- Content library: Browse content and templates from your organization's Team Hub in Spekit.
- Create content: Build custom content like executive summaries with embedded videos.
- Sync files: Add content straight from Google Drive or SharePoint
- Upload files: Upload PDFs, presentations, documents, and spreadsheets
6.) Once the items are selected, click Add to Deal Room.
WEB APP INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to add content to.
4.) Click + Add content.
5.) From the drop-down menu, choose one of the following options:
- Content library: Browse content and templates from your organization's Team Hub in Spekit.

6.) Once you’ve selected your items, click Add to Deal Room to finalize.
How to Reorder Content in a Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to reorder content in.
4.) Click the Reorder button.
5.) Drag and drop content into the desired order by clicking and holding to move it.
6.) Click Save Changes to apply your updates. The content will now be displayed in the updated order within the Deal Room.
How to Edit the Name of the Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to rename.
4.) Click the gear icon ⚙️ next to the current name.
5.) Enter the new name and click Save to apply the changes.
How to Add a Section to a Deal Room
CHROME EXTENSION INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Open the Spekit Chrome Extension
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Open the Deal Room where you want to add a section.
4.) Click + New section.
5.) Enter a section name and click Create section.
6.) The new section will appear in the Deal Room. From here, you can:
Add content to the section
Edit the section
Copy a section share link
Delete the section

How to customize an existing Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to customize.
4.) Click the gear icon ⚙️ to open the Deal Room Settings.
5.) Click the Customize tab to personalize the appearance of the Deal Room.
- Start by typing the company’s name and selecting it from the list.
- Choose the company’s logo and brand color.
- You also have the option to manually upload a logo and set a custom color.
6.) Click Save Changes.
How to add or remove collaborators to a Deal Room
Add other Spekit users as collaborators to a Deal Room to work together and stay aligned on the deal. Collaborators receive notifications for all activity, have full edit capabilities, and can access analytics to stay informed on buyer engagement.
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Select the Deal Room you want to add collaborators to.
4.) Click the gear icon ⚙️ to open Deal Room Settings.
5.) Click the Collaborators tab.
6.) To add a collaborator, search for the user's name and click Add.
7.) To remove a collaborator, simply click the X next to their name.
8.) Click Save Changes to finalize.
How to Clone a Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to clone.
4.) Click the Clone Deal Room button.
5.) In the Clone Deal Room pop-up, customize the details:
Choose or Add a Company: Search for and select the relevant Salesforce Opportunity, or enter the company name you’re sharing the file with (for internal tracking). Just start typing to find a match.
Rename the Deal Room (optional): Add a custom name. This name will be visible to external recipients.
Engagement Tracking & Access: Decide whether to enable engagement tracking and if an email address should be required for access.
6.) Click the Customize tab to personalize the room's appearance with the company’s logo and brand color. You can search for the company by name or manually upload assets.
7.) Click Clone Deal Room to finish.
How to Archive a Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to archive.
4.) Click the Archive button.
5.) In the confirmation pop-up, click Yes, Archive.
A notification will appear at the bottom of the screen confirming the Deal Room has been archived. You can access archived Deal Rooms in the Archived tab.
How to Restore an Archived a Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Navigate to the Archived tab.
4.) Find the archived Deal Room you want to restore.
5.) Click Restore.
6.) A confirmation pop-up will appear, click yes, restore.
7.) The restored Deal Room will now appear in the My Deal Rooms tab.
How to Preview the Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to preview.
4.) Click the eye icon to view the Deal Room as a recipient would see it.
How to share a Deal Room
CHROME EXTENSION INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Open the Spekit Chrome Extension
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Select the deal room to which you want to share.
4.) Click the Share Link Icon in the upper right corner.
5.) The link is now copied to your clipboard.
WEB APP INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to share.
4.) Click the Share button to generate a link or send it directly to recipients.
5.) The link is now copied to your clipboard.
How to track the engagement of a Deal Room
1.) Open the Spekit Web App
2.) Click on My Hub, and select Deal Rooms.
3.) Click into the Deal Room you want to check the engagement.
4.) Click the Analytics button in the upper right corner.
