Discover how to use Knowledge Checks and explore all the available features. To create Knowledge Checks, you’ll need Account Admin, Team Admin, or Expert-level access. If you haven’t already, ensure the Spekit Chrome Extension is installed and you’re logged into your account to get started.
How to Preview a Knowledge Check
1.) Log in to the Spekit Web App.
2.) Click on the Wiki tab.
3.) Select the Knowledge Checks tab.
4.) Select the Knowledge Check you want to preview.
5.) Click the Eye Icon on the top of the page to preview the Knowledge Check.
NOTE:The Knowledge Check preview will open in the Spekit Chrome Extension.
How to Edit a Published Knowledge Check
1.) Open the Spekit Web App.
2.) Click Wiki.
3.) Click on the Knowledge Checks tab.
4.) Open the Knowledge Check you want to edit.
5.) You will be able to make limited changes to published Knowledge Checks.
- Please note: Once published, you can’t edit the question structure (including correct answer designations), the number of questions, or the passing score.
- You can add additional teams to the audience of a published Knowledge Check, but removing teams is not possible at this time.
6.) Click Publish Changes when you’re finished.
How does Knowledge Check scoring work?
Knowledge Checks are scored on a pass/fail basis. The creator determines how many correct answers are needed to pass. Once the user completes the Knowledge Check, they’ll be informed whether they’ve answered enough questions correctly to pass.
How to allow users to retake a Knowledge Check
1.) Log in to the Spekit Web App.
2.) Click on the Wiki tab.
3.) Select the Knowledge Checks tab.
4.) Open the Knowledge Check you want to allow users to retake.
5.) Click the Settings button.
6.) Check the box next to Allow users to retake.
7.) Click Publish.
