Before a Spotlight goes out to your team, you want to know exactly what they'll see — not guess at it. The Preview panel shows a live, real-time rendering of your Spotlight exactly as it will appear to viewers, updating instantly as you type your headline, message, or swap in media. This means you can catch typos, awkward line breaks, or a video thumbnail that doesn't quite land, all before you hit Publish — so what your team sees is never a surprise.
How to Preview Spotlights During Creation
- Open the Spekit Web App or the Spekit Chrome Extension.
- Click + Add New.
- Select Spotlight.
- Fill in your Headline, Message, and any images, videos, or embed content.
- As you type or make changes, the Preview panel on the right updates instantly to show exactly how the Spotlight will look to viewers — including the headline, message, media, and the "Sent by [Your Name]" attribution.
Note: The Preview panel reflects your content only. It does not show Audience, display rule, or expiration settings — those are configured separately in the sections below the content fields.
