[Rep Guide] How to Reconnect Spekit in Slack

If your workspace previously used the older Spekit Slack integration, every team member must perform a quick one-time reconnection. Reconnecting ensures your account is updated to the latest version so you can access new features.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open any Slack channel or DM.

2. Type /spekit disconnect and press Enter.

   • You will see a confirmation message that you have been disconnected.

3. Type /spekit connect and press Enter.

   • Spekit will send you a private message with a setup link.

4. Click the Connect my Spekit account button in the message.

5. On the browser page that opens, click Allow to authorize access.

6. Return to Slack. A message will confirm that Spekit is reconnected.

ℹ️ Note on Deal Rooms: Previous Deal Room channel mappings are not restored automatically after reconnecting. If your channel stops receiving deal updates, contact your Workspace Admin to re-map the room.
