How to Set Up your Customer's Branding in a Deal Room

Why branding matters

A Deal Room with the buyer's own logo and colors reads as something built specifically for them — not a generic template with their name dropped in. It reinforces that you've done the work to understand their deal, and it makes the room instantly recognizable when they come back to it later or forward it to a colleague. Branding also carries through to the share link itself: when you copy it, it copies with a branded thumbnail rather than a plain URL, so the preview a recipient sees in an email or Slack message already shows their logo.

What you can customize

  • Logo — auto-populated when you select a matching company, or manually uploaded
  • Brand color — auto-populated alongside the logo, or manually set with a custom color

How to set up branding

Branding is set the first time you create a Deal Room, and can be updated any time afterward from Settings.

When creating a new Deal Room

  1. During Deal Room creation, click the Branding tab.
  2. Start typing the company's name and select it from the list — this auto-populates a matching logo and brand color where available.
  1. If nothing auto-populates, or you want something different: manually upload a logo and set a custom brand color.
  1. Continue through the rest of setup and click Create Deal Room.

Tip: always run a quick Preview after changing branding to confirm the logo and colors look right before sharing — see "How to Preview a Deal Room."
