How to manage Learning Paths

Once a Learning Path is published, use these tools to update its settings, reorder content, notify learners, share access, and archive or restore it as needed.

1. How to Edit a Published Learning Path

1. Open the Spekit Web App.
2. Open the Learning Path you want to edit.
3. Click the gear icon to open Settings.
4. From here, you can update:
   • Learning Path name and icon
   • Assigned teams
   • Due date (no due date, within a timeframe of assignment, or on a specific date)
   • URL targeting, to control where the Learning Path appears in the Spekit sidebar (domain, subdomain, or specific path)
5. When you're done making edits, click Save Changes.

2. How to Reorder Content in a Learning Path

Adjust the flow to create a logical learning journey.

• Once content is added, you will see a preview of the end-user sequence on the left side.
• Simply drag and drop the content blocks to reorganize them into the order your learners should experience them.

3. How to Send Reminders for Learning Paths

Notify users who haven't yet completed an assigned Learning Path.

1. Open the Spekit Web App.
2. Open the Learning Path you want to send reminders for.
3. Click Notify Users.
4. Choose email or in-app notification, and add an optional custom message (e.g., "Reminder to complete this by Friday!").
5. Click Send Notifications.

4. How to Share a Learning Path

Copy a secure link to share access. Only users assigned to the Learning Path can open it.

1. Open the Spekit Web App.
2. Open the Learning Path you want to share.
3. Click the share (arrow) icon.
4. In the pop-up, click Copy Link.
5. A confirmation message will appear once the link has been copied to your clipboard.

5. How to Archive a Learning Path

Remove a path from active use while preserving it for future reference.

1. Open the Spekit Web App.
2. Open the Learning Path you want to archive.
3. Click the Archive button.
4. In the confirmation pop-up, click Yes, Archive.
5. The Learning Path will now appear in the Archived tab.

6. How to Restore an Archived Learning Path

Bring an archived path back so it can be edited, assigned, and reused.

1. Open the Spekit Web App.
2. Click Team Hub, then select Learning Paths.
3. Go to the Archived tab.
4. Open the archived Learning Path you want to restore.
5. Click Restore.
6. In the confirmation pop-up, click Yes, Restore.

The Learning Path will return as a Draft. Once you're ready to make it active again, click Publish.
