📌 Quick-Jump Topics

File Display & Viewing Issues

If your files look wrong or won’t upload in Spekit, start here:

My document looks cut off when viewed in Spekit.

⚠️ Cause: If your document appears cut off, it may have been created in Google Docs using Pageless mode. Spekit does not currently fully support the unlimited width of Pageless documents.

âś… Resolution:Update the Google Doc to use a standard Paginated format (e.g., 8.5" x 11") before syncing or uploading it.

To switch formats in Google Docs:

  1. Go to File > Page setup in Google Docs.
  2. Select Pages, choose a standard paper size (such as Letter 8.5" x 11").
  3. Click OK.

I can't upload my file.

âś… Resolution:If you are unable to upload a file to the library, please verify your asset against the following technical requirements:

  • File Size Limit: Ensure the file is 2 GB or less. Files exceeding this size cannot be uploaded.
  • Unsupported File Type: Ensure the file type is supported: PDF, PPTX, DOCX, XLSX, Image, or Video.

File & Feature Access

If you can’t see Files or need more storage, start here:

I don't see the option to upload Files.

âś… Resolution:The Spekit Content Management (CMS) feature may not be enabled for your organization. Contact your Customer Success Manager or email support@spekit.co to have the feature enabled.

My file storage limit seems too small.

âś… Resolution:Your storage limit was defined when this functionality was activated. For questions or to discuss increasing your limit, contact your Customer Success Manager or email support@spekit.co.
