How to Upload and Sync Files in Spekit

1. How to Upload a File

  1. Log in to the Spekit Web App.
  2. Click the + New button and select File Upload.
  3. Click Upload Files and choose the file from your computer. Max size: 2 GB. Supported formats: PDF, PowerPoint, Word, Images, and Videos.
  4. Enter a title for your file (this is what your team will search for).
  5. Assign Topics: Map the file to one or more Topics to ensure it appears in the right library sections.
  6. External Sharing: Toggle the option to allow users to share this file with prospects.
  7. Notify Your Team: Choose to send an In-app notification, Email, or create a Spotlight.
  8. Click Save and Notify Changes.

2. How to Sync a File

Keep your content dynamic by connecting Spekit directly to your existing cloud storage providers.

  1. Log in to the Spekit Web App.
  2. Click the + New button and select File Sync.
  3. Switch between the tabs (e.g: GDrive and Sharepoint) depending on where the content needs to be synced from. The tabs will depend on the features enabled for your org.
  4. Once selected, choose the specific files you want to sync into your Spekit library.
    • Supported: PDF, PowerPoint, Word, and Images (not videos at this time).

Note: The same process applies for syncing content from SharePoint, Confluence, and Notion.
