Share your knowledge with the right people, in the right format, at the right time. Spekit gives you multiple ways to share Speks externally — from a simple share link to a live branded presentation using Present Mode.
NOTE: All Spekit Admins and Experts have the ability to share Speks externally. Only Trackable Links customers have access to activity analytics. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or email support@spekit.co to discuss enabling Trackable Links.

1. How to enable external sharing
Before your team can share Speks externally, an Account Admin must enable external sharing at the org level.
- Open the Spekit Web App
- Click the Gear Icon (Settings)
- Open the Admin Tools tab
- Click Share Settings
- Click the toggle next to Allow users to share content externally
2. How to share a Spek externally
- Open the Spekit Web App
- Search for the Spek, or navigate to the Topic where it is stored
- Click on the Spek
- Click the Share arrow and select Externally
📌 Trackable Links customers only:
- Add a public name for the Spek Share Link
- Select the name of the Company you are sharing the Spek with (for internal tracking). To add a company name, just start typing!
- Decide if you would like to enable tracking and if you'd like to require an email address to access the content
- Click Copy Link
- The link is now in your clipboard — paste it wherever you'd like to share the Spek externally
3. How to preview a Spek share link
- Open the Spekit Web App
- Search for the Spek, or navigate to the Topic where it is stored
- Click on the Spek
- Click the Share arrow and select Externally
📌 Trackable Links customers only:
- Add a public name for the Spek Share Link
- Select the name of the Company you are sharing the Spek with (for internal tracking). To add a company name, just start typing!
- Decide if you would like to enable tracking and if you'd like to require an email address to access the content
- Click Create Share Link
- Click Preview — a new tab will open with a preview of the Spek
4. How to present a Spek using Present Mode
Present Mode transforms any externally shareable Spek into a professional, branded presentation deck instantly — perfect for live customer calls, deal room presentations, or internal training webinars.
📌 NOTE: Present Mode is only available for Speks that are marked as externally shareable. Ensure external sharing is enabled for the Spek before proceeding.
- Open the Spekit Web App
- Search for the Spek, or navigate to the Topic where it is stored
- Click on the Spek
- Click the Present button — the Spek will automatically launch in full screen mode
- Use your trackpad or mouse to click forward to advance slides
- To go back, hold Option + double left click
- Press ESC to exit Present Mode
💡 Pro Tips for the best experience:
- Each new section in your Spek displays as its own slide. Use the Components menu to add section breaks where you want new slides to appear
- Before saving your Spek, prompt the AI Content Builder to "make it as responsive as possible on mobile and desktop" so your content displays correctly across screen sizes
5. How to remove external Spek sharing permissions
- Open the Spekit Web App
- Open the Spek
- Click Edit
- Uncheck the Allow users to share externally checkbox
- You will have the option to notify users about revoking external sharing access
- Click Save Changes
⚠️ NOTE: Any share links that have already been generated will no longer work once external sharing is removed.
6. How to bulk enable Spek sharing
- Open the Spekit Web App
- Open the Topic where you want to bulk enable external Spek sharing
- Click Select All
- Click Enable External Sharing
- A confirmation pop-up will appear — click Yes, Enable

- Open the Spekit Web App
- Open the Topic where you want to bulk disable external Spek sharing
- Click Select All
- Click Disable External Sharing
