Who can assign a Topic?
Any Admin can assign a Topic within their specific Team. Admins can also create and assign Topics for the Teams where they are designated as an Admin or Expert.
If a Team Admin or Expert creates a Topic in Team A, can they add it to Team B?
✅ Yes.As long as the Admin or Expert has permissions in both Team A and Team B, they can assign the Topic to Team B.
If there are multiple Admins, can all Admins see all Topics?
❌ No. Admins can only see Topics assigned to their respective Teams. Account Admins, however, have visibility across all Topics and can reassign Topics between Teams if needed.

Account Admin: Full access to all Topics and content across all Teams, with permission to perform all actions in Spekit.
Team Admin: Manages content and users only within the Teams they are assigned to.
Topic Editing & Management
What permissions are required to edit Topic Mapping?
Only Account or Team Admins with permission to edit Topics can modify Topic Mapping. If a Topic is restricted to specific Teams, only Admins or Experts from those Teams can edit it.
Can I delete a Topic?
✅ Yes.But only Account Admins can delete a Topic. When a Topic is deleted, the content within it remains intact but is no longer grouped under that Topic.
What happens if I remove a Team from a Topic?
Members of that Team will no longer see the Topic or its associated content—unless those Speks also belong to another Topic they still have access to.
Topic Mapping & URL Behavior
Can a Topic be assigned to multiple domains or URLs?
✅ Yes.You can assign a Topic to multiple domains or URLs using the Add More option in the Topic settings. This ensures the Topic and its related Speks appear in all relevant locations.
What happens if two Topics are mapped to the same domain or URL?
If two Topics are mapped to the same domain or URL:
Both Topics will appear in the Spekit Chrome Extension sidebar.
Only the Topic with matching Speks for anchor terms on the page will display embedded Speks.
This prevents confusion while keeping both Topics accessible.

What is the ideal image size for a Topic icon?
The recommended size for a Topic icon is 126 × 126 pixels, in PNG format.
