Spekit Web App Overview

New to the Spekit Web App? This guide explains what the Web App is for, what products and features are available, and how it fits into your team's day-to-day Spekit experience.

1. What is the Spekit Web App For?

The Spekit Web App is the central hub where your team creates, organizes, and manages all of your enablement content, and where admins configure how Spekit works across your organization. It's where you:

  • Build your knowledge base (Topics and Content)
  • Set up buyer-facing Deal Rooms
  • Build Learning Paths and Knowledge Checks to train your team
  • Configure Spotlights that guide people in the tools they use every day
  • Review analytics on how content and training are performing
  • Manage account settings — users, teams, branding, integrations, and billing

Most of what you build in the Web App then shows up "in the flow of work" through the Spekit Chrome Extension (and Outlook add-in). The Web App is where content and programs get created and managed, while the extension is often where your team actually experiences them.

2. Hub (Team Hub)

Easy access to all of your Organization's knowledge base within reach:

1. Topics: A Topic is a folder used to group or sequence Content and control who can access them.

2. Content: Content is made up of Speks and Files.

  • Spek: A Spek is a single piece of content (rich text, embeds, files, AI-assisted docs).
  • Sync & Upload Files: Auto-sync content from Google Drive, SharePoint, or Confluence, or manually upload files (PDFs, decks, docs, spreadsheets, images) to turn them into Spekit content.

3. Learning Paths: Guided, sequential training experiences that combine content and quizzes, assignable to individuals or teams.

4. Knowledge Checks: Short quizzes and assessments to test understanding of your content, often attached to a Learning Path.

5. Spotlights: Targeted in-app pop-up alerts shown on specific webpages to surface timely announcements or updates.

6. Out-of-the-Box Content: Pre-built template Topics you can import to jump-start your knowledge base instead of starting from scratch.

3. My Hub

My Hub is your command center in Spekit, helping you manage your active deals and buyer engagement in one place.

1. Deal Rooms: Branded, buyer-facing content hubs you build per Account or Opportunity to share sales content externally and track how buyers engage with it.

2. Trackable Links & Buyer Engagement: Shareable links to your content with engagement tracking (opens, time spent), reported in the Buyer Engagement and Deals dashboards.

3. Assigned: Currently, only Learning Paths will appear on the Assigned (Assigned to me) page. This allows individual users to access their assigned Learning Path, track progress, or retake the Learning Path.

4. AI Services

AI Content Builder

A conversational AI assistant that surfaces intelligent answers and guidance from your Spekit content, right in the flow of work. AI Content Builder lives inside Speks, which can be accessed via both the Spekit Web App and Sidekick (Chrome Extension).

Unified search across your Speks, Topics, Files, and more directly from the Web App's top navigation. By default, you'll land on the "All" tab, which pulls results based on your search term, but you can switch to other tabs to better filter the results you're looking for.
