Learn how to invite Users to Spekit. Ensure you are logging in before continuing. Only Account Admins have the ability to Invite Users.
There are currently four ways to invite Users to Spekit.
Inviting Users: Salesforce
Prerequisite: The Spekit instance must be connected to a Salesforce instance to pull in active Salesforce accounts.
Note: The Salesforce connection may need to be resynced to display all active accounts.
Salesforce-enabled Users:
1.) Open the Spekit Web App.
2.) Click Settings. If Settings is not an option, reach out to your Spekit Administrator.
3.) On the next screen should be Manage Teams & Users. In the section labeled ‘Invite Salesforce Users’ click on Invite synced Salesfroce users.
4.) Select the users to invite by:
- Filtering for the user based on Salesforce Profile fields then selecting the radio button to the left of the user’s name.
- Searching for the user and then selecting the radio button to the left of the user’s name.
- Select the radio button at the top of the user list to select all users in the list.
5.) Click the blue button labeled Add User.
6.) The next prompt will require that you select the following. The settings selected will apply to all accounts:
- Team assignment: Select at least one Team. Information about how to create Teams. Note: All users will be added to the All Spekit Users Team.
- Team Specific Role: Select from the options Viewer, Expert, and Team Admin roles.
7.) When finished select Add User.You will see a confirmation message in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Inviting Users: Manual
Inviting Users via Email:
1.) Open the Spekit Web App.
2.) Click Settings. If Settings is not an option, reach out to your Spekit Administrator.
3.) On the next screen will be the Teams & Users tab. In the Invitations section, click on Invite users by email.
4.) Enter the following information for each user:
- Full Name
- Username: Must be lowercase with no special characters
- Select the Team: Select at least one team. Information about how to create Teams
- Select the Team Role: Select from the options Viewer, Expert, and Team Admin roles
Note: All users will be added to the All Spekit Users Team.
5.) When finished select Invite users.
Invite Users: XLSX File Upload
Invite users in bulk by uploading an XLSXX file into Spekit.
1.) Open the Spekit Web App.
2.) Click Settings. If Settings is not an option, reach out to your Spekit Administrator.
3.) On the next screen should be Manage Teams & Users. In the section labeled Invite users by Email click on Invite users with .XLSX upload.
4.) Download the XLSX template.
Note: Open the file using an .XLSX tool such as Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, or the iOS Numbers app.
5.) File in the required fields on the template.
6.) Save the .XLSX file.
7.) Click the Upload .XLSX file button.
