Measuring Revenue Impact and Pipeline Influence

Start here when: You want to demonstrate content ROI to leadership, review pipeline health in a QBR, or understand the financial impact of content engagement.

Top-Level KPIs

KPIWhat It Tells You
Influenced PipelineTotal dollar value of active opportunities where content was shared
Influenced Revenue WonTotal dollar value of deals closed where content sharing was recorded — your best proof point for QBRs
Total Buyer ViewsTotal external views across all Trackable Links
Influenced Pipeline OpportunitiesCount of opportunities included in the Influenced Pipeline metric
Total Accounts Sent ContentTotal unique accounts that received a Trackable Link
Influenced Won OpportunitiesCount of opportunities included in the Influenced Revenue Won metric

How is Influenced Pipeline calculated? A deal is considered influenced when a Trackable Link is shared by a user associated with that opportunity or account before the deal closes. This metric requires CRM integration to populate.

Charts & Tables

  • Pipeline Opportunities with Engaged Buyers (Line Graph): Tracks opportunities with active buyer engagement over time — use it to spot whether engagement is accelerating pipeline growth.
  • Largest Influenced Deals Closed Won (Bar Chart): Your biggest content-influenced wins — use these as case study material and to identify winning content strategies.
  • Which Departments Engage the Most (Pie Chart): Shows engagement breakdown by department — use it to validate the right stakeholders are engaging and tailor follow-up accordingly.
  • Top Engaged Accounts (Table): Account Name, Total External Views, Time Spent Viewing, and Total Content Shared. High views + long time spent signals a high-intent account worth immediate follow-up.

Best practices: Use Influenced Revenue Won (not Total Views) as your headline ROI metric. Reference specific content when following up with engaged accounts. Follow up on high-intent accounts quickly — the engagement window closes fast.
