How do I install the Spekit Add-In for Outlook?
Recommended: Mass deployment via your IT team or Spekit Admin. If installing manually:
- Microsoft AppSource: Search for Spekit and click Get It Now.
- Outlook Desktop (Windows): Go to More Apps → Add Apps.
- Outlook Desktop (Mac): Go to Tools → Get Add-ins.
- Outlook Web: Go to More Apps → Add Apps, search for Spekit, and click Add.
Can I pin the Add-In for quick access?
Yes. Click the ellipsis (…), select Customize Toolbar, then drag the Spekit add-in to the top navigation bar.
2. Navigation & Features
How do I share content externally?
Hover over a Spek and click Share. Add a public name and company, then enable tracking or an email requirement as needed.
How do I insert content into an email?
Open the Spekit Add-In, find the Spek you want, and click Insert into Email.
Can I download files?
Yes. This is not available for MacOS users using the Outlook Desktop application. Click the Download icon next to the file.

How to Check Your Version
- Windows: Go to File → Office Account → About Outlook (Classic), or Settings → General → About Outlook (New).
- Mac: Go to the Outlook menu and select About Outlook.
Known Limitations
- Some formatting may not copy correctly (tables, highlights, images).
- On Mac, headers, overlapping text, or images may not render.
- On legacy Windows versions, image rendering is limited.
- Advanced features (Sidekick, Flows, Knowledge Checks) are Chrome Extension-only.
