Where can I find Spekit's Release Notes?

Spekit uses a Changelog to document all product releases, improvements, and new features in one unified place. You can easily stay informed about everything happening at Spekit. 📣

On the Changelog page you'll find:

• All releases organized by date
• Category tags such as Improved, Analytics, SmartSend, and more to help filter updates by type
• A Search Entries bar and Filters option to quickly find specific updates
• An RSS feed option, if you prefer to follow updates that way

How do I access the Changelog directly from Spekit's Sidekick?

You can access Spekit's Release Notes Changelog without leaving your browser directly from the Spekit Sidekick extension. Here's how:

1. Open the Spekit Sidekick by clicking the sidebar dock or the Spekit extension icon in your browser.
2. Click the ... (More) button in the top-right corner of the Sidekick panel.
3. A dropdown menu will appear with the following options: Analytics, Settings, Web App, New in Spekit, Request feature, Report a bug, and Support.
4. Click New in Spekit to be taken directly to the Spekit Release Notes Changelog.
5. Log in with your Admin account to access this page.
    

How do I subscribe to receive email notifications for new updates?

1. Visit the Spekit Changelog Page.
2. Log in with your Spekit account.
3. Click the Subscribe button next to the RSS option, just below the Changelog heading. This will enable email notifications every time a new update is published.

4. A Sign up for Canny modal will appear. You can sign up using:

   • Facebook, Google, or GitHub - click the corresponding icon to authenticate instantly, or
   • Email - click the envelope icon and enter your email address in the field provided
   ⚠️ Note: All new subscribers are required to create a Canny account. If you already have a Canny account, click Already have an account? Log in on the modal instead.
5. Once signed in, manage your email preferences to choose the types of notifications you want to receive, such as product updates and feature announcements.
6. Once subscribed, you will receive email notifications for every new update published on the Changelog.

I already have a Canny account — how do I manage my preferences?

Log into your existing Canny account and navigate to your email settings to manage the types of notifications you receive.

Option 1: Unsubscribe via email

Every notification email from the Spekit Changelog includes an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will unsubscribe you from all instant Changelog notifications.

Option 2: Unsubscribe directly from the Changelog page

1. Visit the Spekit Changelog Page.
2. Log in with your Spekit account.
3. Make sure you are logged into your Canny account.
4. Click the Unsubscribe button next to the RSS option, just below the Changelog heading. Once clicked, you will no longer receive email notifications for new Changelog updates.
