[Admin & Rep Guide] Connect Spekit to Claude

Add Spekit as a custom connector in Claude so your conversations can search your Spekit library, cite approved answers, and create new Spekit content without leaving the chat. You connect once with your Spekit login, and everything you do runs under your existing Spekit role.

ℹ️ On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner or Primary owner adds the connector for the organization first. Each member then connects their own Spekit account. On Pro and Max, you do both steps yourself.

1. What you can do in Claude

Once the connector is on, Claude can reach the same Spekit content you can reach in the web app.

In a Claude conversation you canExample
Get an approved answer from your library"What is our stance on data residency? Use Spekit."
Browse your Topics"List the Topics under Competitive."
Pull a full Spek, with its Topics"Show me the full objection handling Spek for pricing."
Draft new content against your style guide"Draft a Spek on the new pricing tier using our content style guide."
Create and file that content in Spekit"Create it as a Spek under the Pricing Topic."
Set up a Deal Room and its content"Create a Deal Room for Acme and add a security overview section."

💡 Pro Tip: Claude can chain these in one request. Ask it to read your approved messaging, then draft and create each piece of a launch set in order, and it will run the steps for you.

2. Who can use this

You need an active Spekit account and a Claude plan that supports connectors: Team, Enterprise, Pro, or Max.

5. Check that it is working

Start a new conversation and ask Claude to list your Spekit Topics. If the connector is working, it returns Topics you already have access to in Spekit.

If nothing comes back, check these in order:

CheckWhat to do
The connector shows as connectedGo back to Connectors and confirm Spekit is not waiting on sign-in.
You signed in with the right accountReconnect and sign in with the Spekit login you use for the web app.
You see the content in Spekit itselfIf you cannot see a Spek in the web app, the connector cannot see it either.

💡 Pro Tip: If a request to create content fails, check your Spekit role. A viewer-only user can read through the connector but cannot create or change content, even by asking.
