Connect your Notion workspace to Spekit so your team can find documentation in the flow of work. Notion syncs your selected pages into Spekit, and each one routes straight to the live page in Notion, so your team always lands on the current version.
ℹ️ Coming soon: This integration is not available yet. This page is here so you know it is planned. Check back for the full setup and syncing steps when it launches.
ℹ️ Where Notion will sync: Like Confluence, Notion will sync into shared Team Hub Topics only, not Deal Rooms, because Notion content cannot preview inside a Deal Room. To bring content into a Deal Room, use Google Drive or SharePoint.
1. What the Notion integration does
The Notion integration connects your Notion workspace to Spekit, so the wikis and notes your team relies on are easy to find in the flow of work. Synced pages surface through search and the Spekit AI Sidekick in the tools reps already use, like their CRM, email, and Slack. When a rep searches, the AI Sidekick can point them to the synced Notion page as a source, the same way it does for Confluence.
2. What you can sync
You choose the specific Notion pages to sync. Your whole workspace does not come across.
- Pages, not standalone databases. Spekit targets Notion pages directly, not standalone databases, the same way it handles Confluence and SharePoint Pages. If a page contains an embedded database, you reach that information by opening the synced page in Notion.
- Formatting limits. Custom Notion rich-text editor components and Notion-only markdown that render only inside Notion are not supported. This matches the behavior across the other content integrations.
3. Who can sync, and where
Notion works like Confluence. It syncs into shared Team Hub Topics only. It does not sync into Deal Rooms.
| Action | Who can do it |
|---|---|
| Connect Notion | Account Admins, Team Admins, and Experts |
| Sync pages into Team Hub Topics | Account Admins, Team Admins, and Experts |
If a deal needs content in a Deal Room, sync the file from Google Drive or SharePoint instead. Notion is for shared reference documentation, not Deal Room content.
4. How synced content behaves
Notion syncs like Confluence. Only a pointer comes into Spekit, not the page body.
| Feature | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Opening a synced page | Shows a View in Notion button that opens the live page in Notion. The body is not rendered in Spekit. |
| AI Sidekick and search | Surfaces the synced Notion page as a source you can reference, the same way it does for Confluence. |
| Permissions | Only users with Notion access can open the full page. |
| Updates | Spekit syncs from Notion about once an hour. Changes in Notion appear after the next sync. |
| Deleted at source | If you delete a page in Notion, it is removed from Spekit after the next sync. |
Because only a pointer syncs, Notion is best thought of as a smart, permission-aware pointer to your documentation, not a full copy of it inside Spekit.
