Content Discovery, Intelligence & Permissions
How does Spekit identify the right content for a user’s situation?
Spekit utilizes a proprietary AI approach (Spekit’s Intelligence layer) that combines two key processing layers: content and context.
- Content Analysis: Spekit analyzes your Spekit library, extracting valuable information from your content (e.g., keywords, topics, product areas)
- Context Understanding: Spekit utilizes advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) to understand the user's specific situation based on a given context
By combining this understanding of both content and context, Spekit's AI can intelligently match the user with the most relevant and helpful piece of content for their specific needs.
If a Spek is hidden, can it still be discovered through AI, Search, or Recommendations?
Hidden Speks are:
- Not accessible: Through Spekit AI Assist or Recommendations
- Searchable by Admins only: Hidden Speks will not appear for regular users but remain searchable for admin users.
How does Spekit ensure appropriate content suggestions based on user permissions?
Spekit prioritizes data security and respects all existing content permissions. Here's how:
- Granular permission control: You have complete control over who can access specific content within your Spekit library. This ensures only authorized users see relevant suggestions.
- Permission inheritance: Spekit inherits permissions. Based on their assigned permissions within the platform, content suggestions will only be offered if the user has the necessary access.
Data Privacy, Security & Compliance
Does Spekit AI share customer data across organizations?
❌ No. Spekit does not share data that’s attributable to, or expose, one customer’s data with another customer.
What data is shared and with whom (3rd party)?
Spekit AI Content Recommendations uses LLMs made accessible by leveraging OpenAI’s API platform. User context and content that is collected is transmitted to OpenAI for processing.
Is my data stored by the third-party LLM provider?
Some third-party platforms may temporarily retain API inputs and outputs for a limited time (typically up to 30 days) to monitor for misuse or abuse. However, they do not use your business data, inputs, or outputs to train their models.
Is my data used to train the AI models?
❌ No. The LLMs accessed through these API platforms do not use your business data, inputs, or outputs for training purposes.
What compliance standards do these platforms follow?
