Spekit’s AI Content Builder makes creating and maintaining knowledge as easy as writing an email. Built directly into the rich text editor, it helps teams create, refine, and scale high-quality content without leaving their workflow.

2. AI Content Builder Features

The AI Content Builder is available directly within the Create/Edit Spek or Topic modal, where a dedicated panel appears on the right side of the screen.

 

Generate New Content

Create Speks, Topics, or templates from a simple prompt. This is ideal when you are starting with an idea, outline, or template and need the AI to build a structured first draft.

Instructions:

  1. Open a Spek or a Topic
  2. (Optional) Select a Template 
  3. Click on the AI Content Builder button 
  4. Enter a prompt describing what you want to create 
  5. (Optional) Attach context (Spekit content or files) or Meeting information
  6. Submit your request 
  7. Review and refine the generated content

Examples:

  • "Create a 'First 30 Days' onboarding checklist for Account Executives, focusing on CRM hygiene and internal tool certification."
  • "Generate a Battlecard comparing Spekit's real-time context capabilities against [Competitor Name], including three 'landmine' questions for reps to ask."
  • "Build a Topic outline for 'Stage 2: Discovery' that includes mandatory fields to update in Salesforce and a template for a discovery call script."

  3. Enter a prompt describing the section you'd like to change and how.  
  4. Submit your request 
  5. Review and apply the updated version

  4. Submit your request 
  5. Review the AI’s suggested variation

3. How to Upload Files as Context in the AI Content Builder

The AI Content Builder is embedded directly into the editing experience so you can work without switching tools.

  1. Open the Spekit Web App
  2. Click + New
  3. Select Create a Spek or Create a Topic Page. 
  4. Click on the AI Content Builder button 
  5. Click the paperclip icon to open the source library
  6. Under the Speks & Files tab, type at least 2 characters to find your source materials. You can select multiple records to provide a comprehensive knowledge base.
  7. Click Accept to "prime" the AI with your selected data.
  8. Issue your request. The AI will now prioritize your attached records over general knowledge to draft your content.

  • "Based on the attached High-Performer Call Transcript, draft a 'Discovery Question' list that mimics the top rep's style."

4. How to Add Transcripts (Including Gong Calls) as Context in the AI Content Builder

You can use transcripts to transform real conversations into structured, actionable content. This includes both uploaded transcript files and Gong call data (if connected).

  1. Open the Spekit Web App
  2. Click + New
  3. Select Create a Spek or Create a Topic Page. 
  4. Click on the AI Content Builder button 
  5. Click the paperclip icon to open the source library
  6. Navigate to the Meetings tab and search for a synced recording (type at least 2 characters). OR click Attach Transcript to manually upload a .txt file from tools like Zoom, Otter, or Chorus.
  7. Select multiple transcripts to synthesize themes across an entire discovery process or deal cycle.
  8. Click Accept to ground the AI in that specific conversation. 
  9. Issue your request to generate content based solely on what was actually said.
