Connect your Notion workspace to Spekit so your team can sync pages and find them in the flow of work. You choose exactly which Notion pages Spekit can access.
ℹ️ Before you start: Notion opens a pop-up during connection. Make sure your browser does not block pop-ups. You will also choose which Notion workspace to connect and which pages to share.
1. How to connect Notion
There are two ways to start the connection. Both are available to Account Admins, Team Admins, and Experts.
Option 1: From + Add New
- Open the Spekit Hub (Web App).
- Click the Team Hub button, then + Add New.
- Select File Sync.
- Open the Notion tab, then click Connect Notion.
- In the Link Notion Account pop-up, click Connect. A Notion window opens. (If nothing opens, check that pop-ups are allowed.)
- In the Connect with Spekit window, choose the workspace to connect from the Select workspace dropdown.
- Review the permissions Spekit will have, then click Select pages to access.
- Click + Add pages & databases, then search for and select the Notion pages and databases Spekit can access. Select at least one to continue.
- Click Allow access.
- When you see the Success screen, your Notion integration is set up. Close the tab.
Option 2: From Settings
- Open the Spekit Hub (Web App).
- Click Settings (the gear icon), then Connect.
- Find the Notion card, then click Connect.
- In the Link Notion Account pop-up, click Connect. A Notion window opens. (If nothing opens, check that pop-ups are allowed.)
- In the Connect with Spekit window, choose the workspace to connect from the Select workspace dropdown.
- Review the permissions Spekit will have, then click Select pages to access.
- Click + Add pages & databases, then search for and select the Notion pages and databases Spekit can access. Select at least one to continue.
- Click Allow access.
- When you see the Success screen, your Notion integration is set up. Close the tab.
ℹ️ NOTE: Notion requires you to grant access at the top-level page. Anything nested under a page you grant is automatically accessible, so you do not need to add every sub-page by hand.
2. What Spekit can access
When you connect, Notion shows the access Spekit will have. Spekit can:

| Create new content within pages you select | Add new content inside the pages you choose to share. |
| View workspace users and their emails | See who is in the workspace, to identify who connected and manage access. |
Access is limited to the specific pages you select at connection. Notion does not share your whole workspace.
3. How to disconnect
Disconnecting stops future syncing. Content already imported stays in Spekit.
From + Add New
- Open the Spekit Hub (Web App).
- Click Team Hub, then + Add New, then File Sync.
- Open the Notion tab, then click Disconnect.
From Settings
- Open the Spekit Hub (Web App).
- Click Settings, then Connect.
- Find the Notion card, then click Disconnect.
You can also remove Spekit from your connected apps in Notion.
