The Spekit Slack integration allows you to access company knowledge, get instant AI-powered answers, and manage buyer engagement notifications directly within your daily workflow. Use the shortcuts and slash commands below in any Slack channel or Direct Message (DM) to interact with Spekit without leaving Slack.
🚨 Important Limitation: Main Channel / DM Use Only. Custom Slack slash commands like /spekit do not work inside message reply threads. Always type your /spekit command directly in the main channel composer box or a Direct Message window.
ℹ️ NOTE: Creating or editing a Spek directly from Slack (/spekit create) is not supported in the current release. To create new content, please use the Spekit Web App or Chrome Extension.

/spekit connect | Links your account. Connects your individual Spekit account to Slack. (Required first step) |
/spekit disconnect | Unlinks your account. Unlinks your Spekit account from Slack and removes the linked-channel status from any Deal Rooms you mapped. |
/spekit [your question] | Asks Spekit. Returns a cited AI answer in a private thread (Main channel/DM composer only; does not work inside reply threads). |
/spekit dealroom | Manages Deal Rooms. Opens the interactive modal to manage Deal Room notifications for the current channel. |
/spekit dealroom list | Lists active Deal Rooms. Shows which Deal Rooms the current channel is currently subscribed to. |
/invite @spekit | Adds the Bot. Adds the Spekit bot to a channel. (Required before you can map a Deal Room or use private channels) |
/spekit info | Shows connection info. Displays the current user account and organization you are connected as. |
/spekit help | Gets help. Displays the full list of available commands and support details. |
