Learn how to connect Seismic to Spekit. Ensure your company has the Seismic integration enabled and you are logging in. You must have Account Admin access to connect Seismic to Spekit. Please keep in mind the Seismic connection established is on a user-by-user basis.
What are the prerequisites for connecting Spekit and Seismic?
- The organization must have Seismic.
- A Spekit Account Admin will need to initiate the connection.
- A Spekit Account Admin will need to know their Seismic tenant name.
- All viewers who want to connect need a Seismic active account.
- Recommended: Viewers who want to connect should be logged in to Seismic in a separate tab. This makes the connection workflow simpler for users.
How to connect Seismic to Spekit
To connect Seismic, a Spekit Account Admin should complete the following steps:
1.) In Spekit, navigate to the Connect page.
2.) On the row for Seismic, click the Connect button.
3.) In the modal window, click the purple Authorize account button.
4.) You will be redirected to a new tab. Enter your Seismic tenant name.
5.) Click the blue Connect button.
6.) If you are not already logged in to Seismic, enter your Username and Password.
7.) Click Login.
8.) Close the tab.
9.) In Spekit, you will see a confirmation message.
10.) The Seismic integration button will be grayed out and display Disconnect.
How to connect Seismic to Spekit through Search
With the announcement of our launch of the Seismic integration in Spekit, you will now see a new option in the search results for Speks, Topic, Spotlights, Flows, Knowledge Checks and Seismic.
Follow the steps below to connect your Seismic user account to Spekit:
1.) Open the Spekit Web App.
2.) Search for the Seismic content you would like to view.
3.) Navigate to the Seismic tab.
4.) Click the Connect to Seismic button.
5.) A new tab will open, prompting you to log into Seismic.
6.) Once logged in, you are connected to Seismic. You will get a confirmation screen.
7.) Open Spekit back up, and the search results will populate the Seismic content.
