Understanding the Share Links Dashboard

What is the Share Links Dashboard?

Our Share Links Dashboard provides insight into what content your users share externally and how external users interact with the shared content. The dashboard gives you a consolidated view of shared links:

• Name of the Company Name
• Name of the Content
• Date the Content Shared Link was Created
• Last View Date
• Total Number of Views

Why you should use the Share Links Dashboard?

This dashboard makes supporting the ongoing administration and governance of external content easier. Review critical information about Files, such as the external share company, content shared, total number of views, and more — all in a single location.

This will help content creators easily see which content is getting the most engagement so that they can proactively create similar content, optimize less popular content, or update ignored content.

How to View Share Link Analytics

1.) Open the Spekit Web App. 

2.) Navigate to the Analytics tab. 

3.) Click on Share Links.

4.) From this dashboard, you will be able to see the following: 

• Name of the Company Name
• Name of the Content
• Date the Content Shared Link was Created
• Last View Date
• Total Number of Views

How to Review Company Share Link Analytics

1.) Open the Spekit Web App. 

2.) Navigate to the Analytics tab. 

3.) Click on Share Links.

4.) Click a specific Company. Here, you will see all data around recent activity and share links sent to that organization. From this dashboard, you will be able to see the following: 

• Total # of Unique Viewers
• Total # of Views
• Total Time Spent Viewing
• Last Viewed Date
• First Created Date
• Recent Views

5.) Click Share Links. Here you will be able to get a drill down into every item you've shared with the organization. 

6.) Click the … ellipsis to do any of the following actions:

• View LInk Activity
• Preview Share Link
• Copy Link URL
