Are you running into some issues with the Spekit Chrome Extension? Check out these troubleshooting tips and procedures to get your Chrome Extension working correctly.
Common Troubleshooting for the Spekit Chrome Extension
If you are experiencing issues with Spek icons not appearing on a page or the sidebar is not opening or responding please try the following steps and check the following items to resolve the issue quickly:

For the fastest and simplest resolution: Refresh the webpage. If this does not resolve the issue please proceed to Step 2.
🐙 Step 2:
Toggle the Spekit extension off and back on
If Step 2 has not resolved your issue please proceed to Step 3
🐙 Step 3:
Update Chrome if it is not on the latest version (link to how to check for the latest version)
If Step 3 has not resolved your issue please proceed to Step 4
🐙 Step 4:
Restart Chrome by entering chrome://restart in the URL bar
If you are still not seeing Spek Icons or the Sidebar is not opening after trying the above troubleshooting steps, you will want to remove the Spekit extension from your Chrome browser and re-add it.

How to delete the Spekit Extension
Re-add the Spekit Extension. Link to Spekit Extension on the Chrome Store
Click on the Spekit Extension icon to ensure you are logged in. If it is not visible, click the Puzzle piece icon
Once logged in, refresh the page and you should see your Spek icons now appearing as well as the ability to open and close the Sidebar

How to report a problem
If you are experiencing an issue with the Spekit Chrome Extension, the easiest way to report the issue is by using the feedback method for Viewers.
1.) Open the Spekit Chrome Extension.
2.) Click the ellipsis [...] at the top of the Chrome Extension.
3.) Click Report a Problem.
4.) A pop-up will appear asking you to fill out what is going wrong with the Spekit Chrome Extension.
5.) When you are done filling out the information, click Submit.
